Comprehensive Photography

This one-week course will equip you to move from a basic understanding of photography to the next level.  You will become more skilled in all technical aspects of using the camera and help you to improve your photographic skills.

  • · History of photography and visual literacy

    · Camera functions, accessories, lenses and flash

    · Digital photography – exposure, resolution, white balance, colour temperature, pixels, ISO ratings, memory cards, software, image noise, image types and sizes, file types (jpeg, tiff, RAW)

    · Aperture and depth of field; shutter and motion; exposure; natural and artificial lighting

    · Composition, perspective, viewpoint and design elements influencing photography

    · Basic Photoshop skills
